It’s almost been two weeks since I finished my last exam and it truly has been going at a very fast pace ever since. Naturally, throughout exam revision time there really isn’t that much exciting going on in my life – therefore a lack of posts. The day when this picture was probably the highlight of my exam week – after a hand in and presentation I met my dad for wine at the private members club, before I went […]

Ok, so I actually didn’t consume the lemonade. 30 grams of sugar in one can. Only bought it for the pic #noshame I was planning on wearing this outfit the other day, however London weather wouldn’t permit this. It was cold as well today, although the sun came out in time for a quick little photoshoot at my friends apartment. I’m really excited for summer to come around and perhaps attempt to wear more colour and more summery clothing. My queen […]

Yesterday, the sun was out and shining in London. On the few occasions this occurs, you really need to grab the opportunity which is why after a gym session I went on a walk. This walk took me from Shoreditch to Cecconi’s where I had a quick bite to eat before heading down to St. James Park for a quick photoshoot. For the day out I decided that it was finally time to pull out the white jeans again. I […]

Not catching any feelings. Only thing I’m catching is a cold if I continue wearing summer outfits when it’s still cold out. One thing I love about Shoreditch and east London is all the street art. There’s always some pretty amazing ones on the street my university is located on, Fashion Street. Today I just couldn’t resist the urge to have a little photoshoot on my way to get some green tea. I am so ready for spring and summer. […]

As promised, after assessments were done I swore I would blog more regularly. And here I am, laying in bed after a fun surprise birthday party last night for my friend Yasemin. I am still in food coma, after stuffing my face with pizza and cake. We went to this cool little place in Knightsbridge called Ciros Pomodoro. Had never been, but with pizza that good I will definitely have to go back. It was a fun night filled with […]

There’s truly nothing like a lovely brunch on a rainy London day with yummy peppermint tea and mimosa’s, Adele on the speaker and Grace Coddington’s memoir in my hand. Perfect day to what will be quite a lazy day at home before my really good friend’s birthday tonight. Have a lovely day.
Last night I had one of my very good friends over for a lovely dinner, with wine, gossip and macaroons. Something that always occurs throughout the evening is a photoshoot, and the theme of last night’s was basically to show off how I’m equally as in love with myself as Yeezus himself. Kanye is so awesome. Anyways, my Les Artistes t-shirt was the main focus of the shoot and I think some of the pictures turned out quite artsy and […]
Alexander McQueen is undoubtably one of my favourite brands. Everything from their suits, to their leather jackets and sweaters are always to die for. Their latest collection by Sarah Burton referenced McQueen’s previous use of objects such as moths, with an outstanding result. Features such as flowers and gothic inspired face jewellery was also seen throughout the show. Fantastic new collection with brilliant tailored pieces. I mean, come on – I would wear every single piece.
The A/W 2016 collection for Burberry was shown this week during fashion week and it was quite frankly a leap from previous collections in terms of both colours and themes throughout the collection as well as the layout of the runway show. Nonetheless, the collection was amazing and Christopher Bailey has made some drool worthy pieces. Take a look. What I especially love about watching the Burberry runway shows is that we get to see the amazing diversity of clothing […]
YMC was my first ever show during LCM, and it will definitely not be my last one. The show did definitely not disappoint, with models walking down the runway in amazing oversized trousers, in all types of colours and materials, as well as some pretty dope leather jackets (the green one and brown one were both incredible). Some of the patch work pieces, jeans and jackets were also among my favourites. Here are some of the looks I loved.
On Saturday I got to attend my first LCM fashion show, which was the YMC show. It was a fabulous show, I truly adored a lot of the stuff that came down the runway. A review of the show will be posted shortly. After the show however, it was time for lunch and what better place to lunch on a Saturday – than Cecconi’s? A couple of glasses of champagne and wine, super yummy salmon and an appearance from Bill […]
